Searching for Time
What if the people you thought you knew were living inside untold sagas of war, survival, and reinvention?Kathryn Croom Peisert grew up seeing her grandmothers as quiet fixtures of family gatherings—until she finally asked them to tell their stories.

About the Author
Kathryn Croom Peisert is a writer, editor, and strategic advisor who has spent her career advising and developing educational resources for nonprofit health care boards. A lifelong storyteller with a background in music, she brings a careful, observant voice to nonfiction, honed through years of translating complex material into clear, compelling narratives. In Searching for Time, she turns that same curiosity inward, spending years interviewing her two grandmothers and researching their historical worlds to preserve their voices before they were lost. Kathryn lives in Northern California with her husband, two children, and a yellow Labrador retriever—a breeder for Guide Dogs for the Blind—surrounded by the natural beauty that continues to shape her writing. This is her debut work of narrative nonfiction.
